1966 Mustang Convertible - restored and modified!
This is a 1966 Mustang convertible in “Springtime Yellow” with black interior. The vehicle has all of the engine and cosmetic upgrades.
The paint is in nice condition. All upholstery, carpet, and interior trim are in excellent condition, and the power convertible top is new. There is no rust anywhere on the car.
The interior options include power steering, correct aftermarket air conditioning, Wilwood power disc brakes, a power convertible top, and an AM/FM radio.
This classic Mustang comes with a "C" code 289 with an upgraded engine, suspension, brakes and undercarriage. The mildly upgraded engine features a slightly more aggressive camshaft, a new intake manifold and four barrel carburetor. The exhaust system has been modified to give a pleasing muscular sound to complement the upgraded 289 engine (but not loud enough to disturb the neighbors). It comes with American Racing Torq Thrust wheels which are period correct. To handle the extra torque of the modified 289, the undercarriage has been reinforced with sub-frame connectors.
This 1966 Mustang convertible is a very nice weekend driver, ready for summertime! It is part of a private collection located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
