1955 Mercury Monterey - 2 DR Hardtop
This 1955 Mercury has been in Las Vegas since its birth. It was made at the Los Angeles plant and has lived in the dry desert of Pahrump NV. This is a two owner vintage car with low miles.
The Mercury Monterey comes with the original 292 C. I. V-8 engine and is paired with a Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission. It runs and shifts well. This classic 1955 car is rust free and all the body panels are original. It was painted Rangoon Red two years ago, which is very close to the original color. The top and dash have been repainted black and the upholstery is new. The wheels on this 55 Mercury are aftermarket, and from the early 60's. The bumpers and tail light bezels are original and have been re-chromed. All lenses on the front and rear are new and all other body trim is in good condition.
There is no bondo in the body, there are no dings and there are no dents. The running gear is in excellent shape with no runs, drips, or errors.
Take this one to a local car show and have a great shot at a trophy!
