1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback (J Code)
We have for sale a 1968 mustang fastback that is a factory GT, J code (4bbl 302) and a factory 4 speed transmission. We found this car in Oregon several years ago. This numbers matching original GT was built in the San Jose plant and has spent it's entire life on the west coast of the US until we had the car refurbished and sold.
Originally Seafoam green with ivy gold deluxe interior, we elected to strip the paint all the way down to bare metal and do a correct color change to the much more popular Highland Green. At that time we discovered that no metal work was needed - not even the battery apron has been replaced in this car! This car would easily convert to a Bullit clone if so desired. The current owner has added Classic Auto Air's "perfect fit" air conditioning to the vehicle and it's ideal for these warm summer days!
We know you'll like what you see when it comes to this very original 1968 fastback. GT Mustangs that are this nice are just simply hard to come by.
